DowelLam

Derek leads DowelLam’s engineering, project management, geometry and manufacturing teams. He works with clients and project partners to bring DLT and Acoustic DLT into their buildings, connecting early project discussions with the technical coordination and production planning needed to deliver all-wood mass timber.

Daniel leads technical engineering for DowelLam, working alongside Jared and the project, geometry and manufacturing teams. His work brings engineering guidance, design review and practical coordination together, helping translate project requirements into clear, constructible DLT solutions.

Shoaib leads DowelLam projects with more than two decades of construction and project management experience across Canada, the United States, Africa and Asia. His background includes timber structures, bridges and major infrastructure. He brings a collaborative approach to coordinating design teams, budgets, contracts and construction delivery.

Jared brings structural engineering and design-build experience to his role as DowelLam Product Manager. His background spans healthcare, public buildings and transit projects, including seismic design in California and Washington. He focuses on practical, constructible solutions and helping project teams resolve structural questions early in design.

Oscar brings a civil engineering background and a master’s degree from McMaster University to DowelLam’s project management team. His project experience includes Princeton University, T3 FAT Village and One Bridgeland Green. He works with Shoaib to coordinate project delivery.
