The Grain

The Grain brings two new mass-timber buildings to downtown Delafield, creating a mixed-use destination for offices, retail, dining and residential space.

The development consists of two four-storey buildings connected by underground parking. Brick façades respond to Delafield's historic character, while the interiors expose a contemporary timber frame of glulam columns, girders and purlins supporting DLT floor and roof slabs.

DowelLam supplied the DLT panels for approximately 77,800 square feet of timber deck plan area across the two buildings. The prefabricated panels create warm finished ceilings and work with concrete topping to form an efficient commercial floor assembly.
