Lakeridge Middle School brings daylight, natural materials and flexible learning spaces together around a central courtyard in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

The 141,000-square-foot school replaces the conventional cafeteria with a distributed commons offering a range of active and quiet settings. Exposed wood ceilings and whole-tree columns connect students to the surrounding landscape while supporting a warm, calm learning environment.

DowelLam supplied approximately 9,240 square feet of 2x6 acoustic DLT roof panels in SPF. The panels are expressed in the commons and other shared spaces, where their integrated acoustic treatment helps manage noise without concealing the timber structure.
