The G.W. Graham Secondary School Addition expands academic, trades and robotics programs around a new covered outdoor learning space in Chilliwack.
The 2,700-square-metre addition increases the school's capacity by 450 students and adds 18 teaching spaces. Steel framing supports the two-storey academic wing and one-storey shop, while selective mass-timber elements give the shared spaces a distinct architectural character.
DLT panels form portions of the roof and canopies, including the tall covered courtyard linking the academic and industrial-education programs. DowelLam supplied approximately 6,715 square feet of panels together with glulam columns for the addition.
