DLT Profile

Acoustic

Canby High School's modernization adds contemporary STEM learning spaces and a bright new commons beneath an exposed acoustic timber roof.

The project replaces aging portions of the school with more than 37,000 square feet of new two-storey construction while upgrading the existing campus for safety and resilience. Flexible instructional spaces support hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics programs.

Over the commons, glulam framing supports DLT panels that form both the structural roof deck and the finished wood ceiling. DowelLam supplied approximately 2,540 square feet of 6-inch acoustic DLT panels for this central gathering space.
